The Harwich Historical Society houses a research library and the Brooks County Museum, devoted to preserving and interpreting more than two centuries of local history. The permanent collection features an eclectic mixture of artifacts, including paintings by the artist Charles D. Cahoon, a sizable cranberry culture exhibit, Crowell carved birds, and a model train and town detailing the impact of the railroad on the region. It is centrally located in Harwich, just a mile southwest of Cranberry Valley Golf Course.
